Oxidisers break the chemical bonds that make many stains coloured, so the stain stops absorbing light even if some residue remains. They work on tannins, dyes and plant pigments, not on grease or mineral particles.

08 Questions

Is diluted oxygen bleach safe on a painted wall?

Diluted is less risky, but the problem is the chemistry, not the strength: it can dull and lighten wall paint.

What should I use on a painted wall instead of oxygen bleach?

Use the method in the stain file for the specific stain: on wall the right product depends more on the stain than on habit.

Can I mix oxygen bleach with other cleaners on a painted wall?

Do not combine cleaners unless the exact product manufacturers explicitly direct that use. This ingredient-level file cannot establish compatibility of commercial formulas. Rinsing alone does not prove that later use of a different cleaner is safe, especially on porous materials.

Does oxygen bleach remove stains from a painted wall?

None of the 16 files for wall uses it. Absence from the model does not establish either effectiveness or safety.

How long can oxygen bleach stay on a painted wall?

Do not use it as a routine home treatment on this material. For accidental contact, follow the product and item instructions and obtain advice if needed.
