Oxidisers break the chemical bonds that make many stains coloured, so the stain stops absorbing light even if some residue remains. They work on tannins, dyes and plant pigments, not on grease or mineral particles.

08 Questions

Is diluted oxygen bleach safe on a wood table?

No. Dilution slows the damage but does not change what oxygen bleach does to a wood table: alkaline peroxide can lift a finish and bleach the wood under it.

What should I use on a wood table instead of oxygen bleach?

Use the method in the stain file for the specific stain: on wood table the right product depends more on the stain than on habit.

Can I mix oxygen bleach with other cleaners on a wood table?

Do not combine cleaners unless the exact product manufacturers explicitly direct that use. This ingredient-level file cannot establish compatibility of commercial formulas. Rinsing alone does not prove that later use of a different cleaner is safe, especially on porous materials.

Does oxygen bleach remove stains from a wood table?

None of the 45 files for wood table uses it. Absence from the model does not establish either effectiveness or safety.

How long can oxygen bleach stay on a wood table?

Do not use it as a routine home treatment on this material. For accidental contact, follow the product and item instructions and obtain advice if needed.
